Freshfilter develops and produces the signaling systems for the overpressure systems itself. This ensures that every system is fully up-to-date and meets the latest restrictions. More importantly, it relieves the operator completely in the field of personal protection. The control systems have been developed in such a way that the system can perform their work fully automatically, without interaction, and timely inform about potential dangers. This prevents expensive downtime and ad-hoc work on location.

For several years, Freshfilter has replaced the FFController 2000 series with the digital 3000/3001 series. This cabin controller is completely digital, works faster and has a more modern appearance, so it fits seamlessly with the current cabin equipment.

The FFController 3000 series is used to optimally control the overpressure system. To turn the Controller on and off, hold down the red MODE button for 3 seconds. From the moment you switch on the FFController, the controller system in the cabin starts to do its work. When the controller is in automatic mode, it ensures that the overpressure in the cabin remains at least 100PA. If there is too much or too little pressure in the cabin, an optical and acoustic alarm will be perceptible, whereby the operator is immediately warned of potential danger.


Up to three different types of filters can be detected and showed on the control panel:

  • P1/F5 filter
  • P3/ HEPA filter
  • Carbon filter

When a filter is removed or installed incorrectly this will be displayed on the controller immediately.


The panel can be optionally expanded with a hydrocarbon meter. The HC value can be displayed with a button on the LED screen. Plus, the controller warns (also if the HC value is not displayed on the screen) when there is an exceedance of 5 PPM. This HC module can also be integrated in the Controller 3000 at a later stage.


The advanced FFController 3000 series will warn you in time! The automatic regulation of the controller panel drives the engine to 0-80% of its capacity.  The controller will give a pre-warning when the cabin starts to leak to such an extend that the pressure can no longer be achieved. 

Subsequently you can plan an inspection appointment and no ad-hoc repairs will be necessary on site. These are direct savings on your maintenance costs of the machine!


The FFController is tested conform the guidelines: EMC, R&TTE and electronical safety. So you can be sure that all noticeable problems are fully excluded!

The FFController 6000 series belongs to the very latest generation of cabin surveillance. You can find all functions of the first generation controller back in this all-rounder, but now with more! Here below you can read the main functionalities of the controller 6000 series;


The FFController 6000 series has the same form factor as its predecessors. The 6000 series also uses the same cabling, so the interchangeability of the various generations remains the same. All Freshfilter systems are provided with a single, universal, cable connection. If you want to upgrade from a 3000 series to a 6000 series, this is possible without having to run a whole new cable harness through the cabin.


The four buttons and the touchscreen make operating the control panel a piece of cake. The clear display provides all the information needed to guarantee and maintain a safe working climate in the cabin and alerts in time in the event of danger. With the intuitive control you can view all tabs, which give you quick and easy insight into, for example, the filter registration and odor sensors.


With the 12-pin auxiliary connection you can add or replace functions in module form. For example, external indoor / outdoor sensors, a data logger, an external green lamp, a recirculation unit or a sensor-dependent 1/0 output.


The FFController 6000 series offers the possibility to connect up to four different odor sensors to the system. This allows you to install specific sensors if you work in heavy pollution. For remediation with vapors and / or gases, it is mandatory to use an odor sensor. We have a different sensor for each type of pollution. The sensors can be mounted at the desired location both inside and outside the cabin, making it possible, for example, to install sensors on the head of the jib.


The control system is equipped with filter registration. Filters can now be easily registered via the touchscreen. The serial number, type of filter, operating hours and installation date are stored here. Based on the running time of a filter, the 6000 series gives a message that the filter needs to be replaced. This gives you the opportunity to get new filters in time. With the optional 4G module you can also easily retrieve this data from your computer.


The 6000 series control systems have flow measurement as standard. If the flow is too high, the alarm will switch on and it is advisable to have the cabin checked for leak-tightness.

4G datamodem

With a built-in 4G data modem, the status of the control system is constantly synchronized with the Machine Control Panel (MCP). This allows you to remotely monitor and configure the working climate of your staff. With a data plan of a few euros per month you can manage your fleet worldwide via the online Freshfilter MCP (Machine Control Panel).


The 6000 series is also equipped with GPS, so you can easily see the locations of your fleet.
